PGHR Print Edition

PGHR publishes a biannual (Fall and Spring) print edition, which will also be available digitally. Articles are selected based on their original submission evaluation, online viewership and engagement, and current relevance. Authors whose articles are selected to be in the print edition may be requested to further edit their work. There is a fee to purchase a physical version of the print journal as we do not collect any article submission or publication fees.

The Fall 2020 edition will be published in the Spring of 2021. The Spring 2021 edition's theme is to be announced.

Fall 2020 Print Edition Theme: “Pandemics”

The theme of the Fall 2020 Pre-Collegiate Global Health Review print edition is pandemics. To have an article considered for the Fall 2020 print edition, it must be accepted and published in the online PGHR as well as be related to the topic of pandemics.


The submission deadline to have an article considered for the Fall 2020 print edition is January 3rd, 2021, at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time. 


All submissions that relate to the theme will automatically be considered for the print journal. Currently published articles in PGHR related to pandemics will also be considered.


The Fall 2020 print edition will be published by the Spring of 2021. Authors will be notified if their article has been accepted to the Fall 2020 print edition by the end of February in 2021. The print edition will be available in a PDF format in addition to a physical copy for those who request it. Details regarding receiving physical print editions will be determined depending on the global COVID-19 situation.

  • COVID-19

  • Economic and political impacts of pandemics

  • The disproportionate impact of pandemics

  • Global responses to pandemics
